Narayaneeyam
Narayaniyam is a beautiful Sanskrit text, comprising a poetic summary of the Bhāgavata Purana. It was composed by Melputhur Narayana Bhattathiri, (1560–1666 AD) one of the celebrated Sanskrit poets in Kerala. Narayaniyam is recited by Hindus, mainly in Southern India and it is believed that it grants long life, good health and happiness.
